September 14, 2008
We had to go grocery shopping the other day and since gas prices are a little on the rise I looked for a wal-mart close to a bunch of caches. Using the geocaching plugin for google earth, I found along hwy 41 there are lots of nano's and micro's.

The first one we came to was acroos froma bank in a publix parking lot. The kids found it pretty quick GC100M3 I think Caitlin is actually the one that found it.

The next one was in the same parking lot behind the publix. GCVDFX Sam found this one quickly.

The next place was very muggle prone so after the girls started looking I called them back. I have a good idea where it is so we will have to catch this one at night. GC15CEM

Across the street we went looking for GCW5To I never thought a cell tower could have so many bugs. We called this one off after about 15 minutes.

After two defeats we headed for a break at the Quick Trip and cache GC15CEH . The girls found this one while me and the boys were in getting snacks and drinks.

The next cache was GC10RNZ. I had an idea about this one because I was waiting for a meeting one day in the parking lot. The hint was a sprinkler but the girls couldn't find it. I had been online looking at containers and happened to see a fake sprinkler head online.

Next was to the Home Depot GC1017R. This one will also have to be a night cache because of all the muggles. We tried for a while but kids aren't the best a being stealthy.

On to the bank across the street GCM4FK. Kids found this one in a about 5 minutes.

Next through the parking lot to GCRN2Q next to Kohls. The kids looked for about 15 minutes and finally called it off. May try this one again.

On to the parking lot at target GCYD1Y. Caitlin jumped out of the car and picked this one up in about 20 seconds.

Then to a strip shopping center down the street GC1AA0Y. Caitlin and Cole found this one before I could get out of the car. Unbelievable.

On to grocery shopping. After that we stopped to let Ian find a cache. he hadn't found one yet that day and he hadn't been attacked by an insect or anything yet. So on the way home we stopped in emerson to look for GC199J3. Ian found the cache but he also got hundreds of seeds from a weed (little triangles) all over him. So his record of getting attacked by something while geocaching.
